Hollyhock
Dear Friends,

We are nearing the end of a remarkable year, and we’d like to ask for your support.

Hollyhock has been able, even in a very challenging economic climate, to grant over 275 scholarships in 2009 - an extraordinary 16% of our program attendees.

Programs like the Art of Leadership, Web of Change, and the Social Venture Institute have consistently created exceptional opportunities for people to learn, to network and to grow.
Most of you have been to a program at Hollyhock, so you know the feeling and the value of learning and being in this magical place.

Financial accessibility changes lives.

“I am so very grateful for your help. During my 5 days in your magical space I found answers to questions which have eluded me for over 20 years.”
– 2009 Scholarship Recipient

Please donate now, and allow others to have this experience.

Every dollar given goes directly to youth, elders, volunteers and those working for non-profits, teachers, students, healers, artists and many others in need of financial support to attend a Hollyhock program.

Each scholarship granted has an average value of $265, and our goal is to give scholarships to 325 people in 2010. Can you help bring 1, 2, 3 or even 10 people to Hollyhock next year?

You can make a single donation or join our growing circle of monthly donors.

Donate now through CanadaHelps. We will gladly issue tax receipts for donations made by December 31, 2009.

Americans, you can donate at CanadaHelps as well, but if you’d like a tax receipt, please make a cheque out to Tides Foundation and send it directly to Hollyhock, Box 127, Mansons Landing, BC V0P 1K0.

Thank you in advance for responding to our call. Your support is vital to ensuring that the Hollyhock experience is accessible to the most diverse spectrum of people.
